“begins: Havana vanities come to dust in Miami.” the perfect understanding and placement of words. I’m shocked that nearly 200 pages of political intriguing surround U.S. foreign policy in Latin America from 1960 to 1980 could be so… sexy? Even with Didion’s wild sentence construction, I can’t imagine any word being different.

Winner of “most awkward stare for reading material on the Metro”, because people only know it from that “Seinfeld” episode.
